Hot on the heels of our recent win in the APAC Australian Enterprise Awards, we want to share a little bit about the experiences that have led our business to this point and what this award means for us. Knowing how much of a growth journey owning a business is, we also want to offer advice to other businesses who are starting up and/or hoping to win an award one day.
It was a long journey from initially being put forward for this award, undergoing the research and judging stages and then finally being recognised for an award. So it’s very exciting to now be at the stage where our award can be shared with the world!
There are two paths into consideration for this award. The first is to be nominated, and the second is to be sought out by executives from the AI Global Media group who actively search for businesses, enterprises and individuals who have demonstrated their perseverance to allow Australia to retain its position as a major player in the world economy.
To receive recognition for our consistent efforts over the past number of years feels so rewarding and I’m sure will also help to bring more success moving forward.
Every decision we’ve made in our business and each step forward has been determined by the vision we have for the long term. We have done so much foundational work to create good business bones and to ensure that the customer experience is placed as the first and foremost priority.
Using the analogy of a space shuttle, there is a lot of effort required to just gain traction in the early stages of a business. Once momentum is established, the trajectory is followed with relative ease.
Receiving an award as recognition of dedication to service feels amazing, however, we view it as a by-product of the work we aim to do, not the ultimate goal itself.
For anyone hoping to win an award one day, we would suggest maintaining focus, consistency and patience. Once results have been demonstrated over a period of time, the rest will fall into place.
The next step forward for us is to keep doing what we do best, and that is to produce the best results for our customers while also aiming to fine-tune the customer experience wherever possible.
You can also expect to see some new faces around, with another technician and an admin staff member about to join our growing team.
